Admission requirements

The academic year consists of two semesters, the Fall Semester  starting in the beginning of October and finishing in the end of January) and Spring Semester starting in the beginning in the end of February and finishing in the end of September).

Admission starts on February 1, 2019.

Sopot Univeristy of Applied Sciences provides one intake a year  – for Fall Semester which starts on November 1, 2019.

For international candidates admissions deadline is September 10, 2019.

1 Download, fill out, sign the application form and send it via mail: admission@ssw.sopot.pl

Foundation year: application form

2 Documens to be provided:

  • Secondary School (Matriculation Certificate),
  • Copy of the passport (pages with personal data)
 

   II step

  AGREEMENTS +  PAYMENT

After sending the above-listed documents, the applicant receives a learning agreement to be signed by him/her and returned to the admissions office (a scan can be e-mailed)
4 After all mailed/e-mailed documents have been accepted, an offer letter (pre-invoice) is mailed/e-mailed to the applicant, with the fees to be paid: application fee of 100 EUR plus the tuition fee for the 2 semesters
5 A confirmation/proof of payment must be e-mailed to the admissions office (admission fee and the tuition fee): admission@ssw.sopot.pl
6 A medical certificate confirming good health  and lack of of counterindications to beginning studies
     III step

   ADMISSION (ACCEPTANCE LETTER)

7 Acceptance letter is provided by the University, in order to complete the visa procedure.
      IV step:

      VISA

 

8 A copy of the applicant’s visa or another document entitling one to a stay on the territory of Poland
 

    V step

   UPON  TO ARRIVAL

 

9 All above-mentioned documents must be submitted in original
10 Medical insurance
11 Three passport-size photos  3,5 cm x 4,5 cm (with the applicant’s a signature on the back of the photos)

Bachelor’s programme/ Master’s programme/ Postgraduate programme: application form

2.  Documens to be provided:

  • for bachelor programmes:  Secondary School (Matriculation Certificate), which entitles its holder to apply for bachelor’s degree programs in the country the certificate  was issued, and a statement of marks / a report card / grade transcript with official grading scale +  Polish translations, prepared by a translator entered on the list of certified translators by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland, or translations certified by a consul of the Republic of Poland holding office in the country the document was issued

 

  • for master programmes: a Bachelor Diploma, which entitles its holder to apply for master’s degree programs in the country the bachelor diploma  was issued, a transcript of the grades with official grading scale + Polish  translations prepared by a translator entered on the list of certified translators by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland, or translations certified by a consul of the Republic of Poland holding office in the country the document was issued.

with an exception: if the applicant comes from an English-speaking country (native speaker) or the language of instruction used at previous educational institution was English

required for non-Polish Secondary School/Matriculation Certificates or Bachelor’s degree Diplomas
